New banner, same address: the Super 8 in Sainte-Agathe is now Hôtel TERRA Laurentides, and the G5 team is transforming the hotel.
Looking for the Super 8 in Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts? You're in the right place. Since July 6, 2026, the hotel at 500 rue Léonard has a new name: Hôtel TERRA Laurentides. Same location in the heart of the village, just steps from Lac des Sables, and the same team welcoming you. But a brand new banner, and this one is proudly from Québec.
TERRA, a homegrown banner that celebrates its regions
The hotel was acquired by Groupe G5, a family-owned Québec company with a hundred years of combined experience in hospitality and food service. TERRA Laurentides is the very first hotel under the TERRA banner, a concept unique in Québec. Rather than imposing the same mould everywhere, each TERRA hotel draws inspiration from its region: its landscapes, its history, its artisans.
The G5 improvements: a hotel in transformation
The G5 team didn't just change the sign: they launched a major transformation program, carried out with hospitality experts behind addresses like the Germain and ALT hotels, all while the hotel stays open.
The common areas are the first to get a makeover: a warm, wood-filled lobby with a lounge area, a coffee and hot chocolate corner, a modernized and expanded breakfast room, a mini market of regional products and grab-and-go snacks, plus a corner for active travellers with a ski rack, secure bike storage and a bike pump. A permanent exhibition will also showcase the history, art and craftsmanship of the Laurentians.
In the rooms, the G5 quality signature is settling in: premium white bedding, extra-comfortable mattresses and upgraded bath products, along with a complete refresh in the colours of the Laurentians (wood headboards, nature-inspired fabrics), followed by a full renovation of every room and bathroom. All of it aims for the highest standards of the Clé Verte (Green Key) environmental certification.
What changes and what stays the same
What stays the same: the address, the team and everything families already love about the place. The 74 rooms and 22 suites, the heated indoor pool with its 21-metre spiral waterslide, the whirlpool, breakfast included, free Wi-Fi and free parking. And yes, dogs are still welcome.
What changes: the hotel is no longer part of the Super 8 network or Wyndham. Reservations are now made directly with the hotel, at hotelterra.ca or by phone at 1 866 527-9206. Booking direct guarantees you the best rate, with no middleman.
Your base camp for exploring the Laurentians
The name changes, but the mission stays the same: to be the ideal starting point for discovering the region.
